Sr Manager, Startup Engagement Programs and Partnerships (ATL)

Business Unit:

Comcast NBCUniversal Startup Engagement is looking for a new team member who is passionate about developing community and programs to help startups grow and innovate with us in Atlanta. This person will have experience identifying partners and managing those relationships. They will work to execute on programming designed to achieve startup recruitment, employee engagement, and marketing goals. They will be passionate about entrepreneurship, building communities, and creating world-class experiences for a network of startup founders.

This position will be based in Atlanta and reports to the Senior Director, Operations and Programming, Comcast NBCUniversal located in Philadelphia. The team member will work closely with the Comcast team in Atlanta, and Boomtown, the accelerator operator of The Farm and SportsTech.

- Uses best practices from LIFT Labs PHL as well as primary research to create compelling startup programming outside of the accelerator programs
- Recruiting world-class speakers to The Farm ATL
- Creating workshops for founders to leverage the expertise of executives within Comcast NBCUniversal
- Working with partners to bring innovative and interesting content to The Farm and SportsTech
- Develops relationships with local programming partners to create meaningful events within the innovation space housing The Farm and SportsTech accelerator investments
- Identifies potential community partners, coordinates partnerships, and manages execution of deliverables
- Responsible for coordinating major Atlanta partnerships
- Creates opportunities for Comcast NBCUniversal employees to mentor startup founders year-round, serve as subject matter experts on panels, interview speakers and lead workshops
- Works with the Comcast NBCUniversal Startup Marketing Communications team to create and disseminate content for the network of startup founders with The Farm and SportsTech
- Supports the Executive Champion and VP of Startup Partnerships where necessary

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 5-8 years related experience in developing programming
- Experience managing partnerships
- Demonstrated passion for entrepreneurship
- Creativity and experience with creating visually compelling presentations and materials
- Experience working with corporate executives and high-profile external speakers
- Proven background of leadership and project management
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate, build, and maintain strong working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to travel and spend a few days per month in Philadelphia
