Mgr, Sales Tool Deployment

Job Description

Business Unit:

Summary
Responsible for managing the deployment and integration of applications & tools within the Residential Sales Organization. Plan and manage activities to support project tracking including development, testing, pilots, & cross channel roll-out of new tool and processes to ensure successful launch. Liaises with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and prioritization. Conduct focus groups, in field observations and track performance. Create and present analysis readout to executive stakeholders to review.

Core Responsibilities
- Manage implementation of sales tool applications including project timelines, planning milestones, technology readiness, testing, and operational readiness activities
- Facilitate meetings/ceremonies to obtain cross-functional stakeholder buy-in, timeline progression updates, implementation activities, items at risks, and next step activities
- Collaborate with product, sales channel, and sales operations to define entrance & success criteria for deployment initiatives
- Support training, go-live, and pilot activities. Provide necessary documentation and artifacts to ensure best in class business operations
- Collaborates with sales channel, sales operations, and frontline to facilitate and document user feedback
- Compiles and presents post launch analysis readout to executive stakeholders to review acceptance of requirements, tool successes, and identify opportunities for enhancements
- Facilitates post-launch checkpoints to identify usage trends, bugs/issues, key lessons learned, and manages transition to operation teams

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Equivalent
- Generally requires 6-9 years related experience
- 3-5 years project management/project planning experience or equivalent
- 1-2 years in a technical role or equivalent
- Expertise in Technical project management including project planning and estimating, change control, and status reporting
- Knowledge of the product lifecycle including design, development, testing, and implementation
- Ability to work autonomously, solving complex problems in an ambiguous environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Superior interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills a must
- Ability to negotiate and build consensus with various stakeholder groups
- Salesforce.com Administrator Certification or experience is a nice to have
- PMP certification a plus
- Experience in Agile Execution Methodology is a nice to have
- Successful candidates will possess a “self-starter mentality,” enjoy problem solving, exhibits excellent relationship building skills, and self-motivated spirit. Exceptional communication and presentation skills required. Some travel should be expected.
