Job Summary:

We are looking for a Sr. Analyst on the Comcast Business Sales Operations team who loves data and learning, wants to be on a fast-paced, collaborative team, and is interested in driving sales performance to compete in our Small-to-Medium Business segment (SMB).

Focused on Inside, Outside, and Customer Base Sales, this Manger will leverage data from a variety of sources to help monitor performance and identify strategic opportunities across the Sales channels. You will coordinate with the Senior Leader team as well as partner organizations to identify the best ways to convey Sales and Operations Performance in the SMB space. You will manage several aspects of BAU reporting as well as ad-hoc analyses as needed.

As the Sr. Analyst of Sales Analytics, you will work with large amounts of data from various sources, and creatively distill this information to identify key insights to help shape future strategies. You will be responsible for mining data, identifying key relationships in the data, and presenting this all with an eye to optimizing performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains dashboards and periodic review presentations to provide ongoing insight and information to senior leaders to support decision making for Sales Operations
  • Creates concise yet powerful views to monitor performance using both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Coordinates crossfunctionally with partner teams to maintain a pulse check' on day-to-day operations
  • Identifies optimal strategies as well as areas of improvement for different Sales channels
  • Develops SeniorLeader facing business cases to support key recommendations
  • Manages pilots/tests of new initiatives on portions of our customer base, measures the outcomes, and advocates for the expansion of successful programs
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Strives to consistently apply and interpret data and metrics, while embracing innovation and flexibility when new ideas are helpful or required by the business

Education Level

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Preferred Requirements

  • Highly analytical, comfortable working with large datasets
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in SQL queries and performing complex data analysis
  • Proficient in GUIstyle business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Oracle Business Intelligence)
  • Solid communication skills with a focus on using data to tell stories
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Able to set and meet own deadlines while being flexible with adhoc projectsField of Study
