The Sr. Coordinator, Community Impact is a key team contributor, responsible for supporting all grants management operations, ranging from database management and training, to data quality control and department-wide reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform quality control on all entries in grants management database, including tax eligibility and compliance, and resolve data discrepancies as appropriate

- Assist with ongoing and ad-hoc Community Impact reporting, including charitable giving, diversity, sponsorships, volunteerism and employee giving data to name a few

- Review and code charitable giving entries based on charitable guidelines and Comcast-specific guidelines

- Prepare external source documents and templates for import into database and ensure records are imported and coded successfully

- Partner with key stakeholders throughout the organization to ensure data consistency between systems

- Identify and track charitable giving activities occurring outside of Community Impact

- Create and maintain data entry and quality control policies and procedures and perform regular data cleanup projects

- Serve as main point of contact for database users on data entry, eligibility, and coding

- Perform troubleshooting and basic configuration tasks in grants management database

- Assist with training new database users on basic data entry

- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance

- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor

- Be available for evening and weekend events as necessary


- Generally requires 3-5 years related experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with grants management database, CRM, or similar system (i.e. SmartSimple, CyberGrants, SalesForce, Raiser's Edge, MicroEdge Gifts)

- Familiarity with or strong interest in charitable giving preferred

- Experience with or interest in data analysis and reporting preferred (Tableau experience preferred)

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and PowerPoint

- Experience with basic HTML, CSS, SQL preferred

- Ability to coordinate large data sets with high level of accuracy and ease

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in a clear, professional manner

- Ability to work under strict deadlines

- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize in a highly effective manner

- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and changes in priorities

- Strong team player and willingness to assist the department in various tasks

- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
