Business Unit:

Job Summary
The Human Resource Director is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function for the Product organization within Comcast's Technology, Product & Experience organization (TPX). Responsible for participating in the planning/development of HR objectives, philosophy, programs and trends for assigned line(s) of business. Serves as the strategic and tactical partner for multiple Human Resources functions, working directly with the leadership team (generally VP and Director level leadership and teams) and having a high degree of impact on business results. Leads other HR Business Partners and Human Resources teams to ensure strategies and initiatives are met. Oversees the coordination with Centers of Expertise (Talent Acquisition, Training and Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation, and Communications) and Shared Services to maximize the TPX employee experience and resources. Ensures all operational plans are strategically aligned with our business objectives.

Core Responsibilities
-Evaluates organization vision, mission, structures, processes and people and recommends, designs and facilitates implementation of solutions to ensure alignment with the Company's overall direction.
-Drives the change and drives leaders towards the change; proactively see's things coming, but proactive evaluation of seeing the change coming
-In partnership with business leaders supported, make recommendations around strategies that enable the business to achieve its goals while improving efficiency and effectiveness.
-Partners with Finance leads to understand the business' Long Range Plan, budget planning, and workforce planning.
-Ensures compliance with corporate policies, and state, local, and federal guidelines to protect the business and its employees.
-Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
-Collaborates with management and staff to drive workforce planning initiatives within divisions and department teams.
-Provides proactive guidance and counsel to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
-Introduces, leads and influences change management initiatives with management staff in order to address issues that will enhance overall performance.
-Coach all levels of employees on subjects such as career, leadership and performance development plans, compensation matters and assisting employees during implementation of change management initiatives.

-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Specification:
-Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
-Generally requires 10+ years related experience
