Senior Manager, Program Management Office (PMO), Community Impact:

The Senior Manager, PMO is responsible for leading Comcast's Community Impact program management practice, pertaining to all employee engagement, volunteerism, giving and service programs. Additionally, the Senior Manager will play an instrumental role in shaping the Community Impact technology landscape. The Senior Manager will be part of the Employee Volunteerism and Giving team, which manages Comcast's volunteer day of service, Comcast Cares Day, the annual employee giving campaign, Comcast's mentorship program, and other programs that engage employees. Additionally, the team leads grants management and operations, the strategy for year-round volunteerism and engagement, and all programmatic, data, reporting and technology aspects.


- Establishes and leads the PMO structure and practices for the department

- Leads, inspires and coaches a team of shared resources, prioritizing resource allocation based on department prioritization and business needs

- Leads all project management aspects related to Comcast's employee engagement programs, specifically including Comcast Cares Day planning and the Employee Giving Campaign to name a few

- Manages key project milestones and deadlines and anticipates and mitigates risks effectively

- Manages vendors and contractual commitments to ensure quality, budget and timeline adherence

- Plays a key role in refining and modernizing the Community Impact technology landscape and leverages implementation best practices and processes

- Effectively partners with other Community Impact program leads, stakeholders throughout the company, and various community organizations

- Plays a key role in shaping Comcast's year-round volunteerism and mentorship strategy and leverages industry best practices and recommendations to help create a robust multi-year program

- Plans, directs, manages and measures national events and programs as needed

- Ability to understand and synthesize data trends and insights to be presented to executive leadership

- Coordinates with various third party organizations to ensure a high quality volunteer experience during Comcast Cares Day and other year-round volunteering events

- Effectively partners with Comcast communications resources to develop internal and external communications strategies and plans to promote the positive impact of the programs

- Builds and maintains proactive and positive relationships with key partner leaders and staff

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

- Assist with and/or assume responsibility for special projects as assigned


- Minimum 10 years of related Program Managementexperience

- Experience managing a PMO

- Strong understanding of and ability to lead enterprise technology implementations, including enterprise technology integrations

- Strong program management expertise and people management required

- Experience or passion for volunteerism, community impact, and/or corporate social responsibility

- Prior knowledge of enterprise philanthropy solution implementation is a plus

- Strong vendor management skills

- Prior management of and experience with shared services models preferred

- Proficient in Microsoft Office software

- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, delivering the project goals on time and within the allocated budget

- Ability to interface with all levels of management and strong leadership presence

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Experience collaborating and working successfully with multiple stakeholders and teams

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
