Analyst 3,Sales Channel Analytics

As a member of the Sales and Marketing Analysis and Reporting team, this position is responsible for reporting and analyzing aspects of sales channel performance. Works cross-functionally to collect data, build analysis, create sales goals, and report results. Infers trends from a variety of data sources and confidently delivers their interpretation; makes recommendations to executives. Works with variety of Sales leaders responsible for MDU Communities, Direct Sales, Call Centers, and Retail Locations. Responsible for defining business intelligence requirements for individual subject areas; develops conceptual data models, design, build, and test sets of reporting and analytic business intelligence programs.
-Partners with region and division sales teams to manage and develop operational and performance management reporting
-Creates visualizations and interactive/action oriented reporting in systems such as Tableau
-Leads Analysis projects evaluating sales practices and opportunities
-Performs ad-hoc analysis
-Develop data science models for sales effectiveness segmentation
-Initiates communication of findings via oral, written, and visual delivery to all levels of management
-Write queries to extract, assemble, and prepare data. Helps manages data systems.
-Works independently in own area of knowledge.
-Performs all business intelligence analysis and data exploitation. Extracts signals and signatures from raw data, integrates that information with other data sources and compiles/disseminates formatted reports to customers.
-Recommends improvements to competitive business intelligence reports and interpretation of data by sales, business development, product, and executive committees.
-Plans and executes system testing. Requires knowledge of the customer's mission and technology used to accomplish a given task.
-Leads the analysis and reconciliation of data and reporting projects and initiatives delivery.
-Develops, maintains, and reports all relevant product, site, and customer metrics and applies findings to develop appropriate goals and projections.
- Trains others throughout the organization in using key analytical and forecasting tools and statistical analysis.
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Equivalent
-Generally requires 5-7 years of related experience
-Strong Excel Skills required (Pivot Tables and advanced lookup functions)
-Query Writing and Business Intelligence reporting tools Highly Recommended (SQL, Tableau) with knowledge in other tools a bonus (Alteryx, Cognos, Toad, R, Python)
