Business Unit:

Summary:
Responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational performance metrics and resources. Maps metrics against the Company's operational plans and tactical/strategic goals to ensure alignment and focus. Creates and facilitates reporting and analysis to evaluate operational initiatives
and drive operational efficiencies. Develops and maintains standard reporting measures, quantitative explanation of relevant data, and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions. Quantitatively evaluates and recommends action plans, based on all operational reporting and
analysis, in order to enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiencies. May provide financial reporting, revenue analysis support, discount monitoring, promotional modeling, and subscriber reporting issue resolution to various departments within the
company. May act as a subject matter expert for all HRIS related inquiries and projects. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience or knowledge in subject matter.

Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Technical:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Report Development in an RDBMS environment
  • Proficient in Database Design
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Ability to Interact with Business users and understanding their requirements
  • Ability to analyze problems and recommends solutions
  • Ability to Design, Develop and support Tableau Dashboards and Reports
  • Responsible for Tableau administration, configuration, and maintenance including upgrades
  • Ability to set up Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop and Tableau user groups
  • Perform report/dashboard design, specification development, program logic, flow charting, testing debugging and documentation
  • Ability to recommend Tableau visualization and dashboard features for a given solution
  • Ability to draw on a full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement Proof of Concepts and Solution requests
  • Ability to create advanced BI visualizations
  • Ability to configure server side Tableau functionality
  • Ability to review, determine and implement Tableau performance optimizations
  • Experience with creation of users, groups, projects, workbooks and the appropriate permission sets for Tableau server logons and security checks
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts
  • Good SQL reporting skills with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries
  • Experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS), and an understanding of relational database design
  • Ability to work with Oracle RDBMS as a Reporting Source
  • Able to use MS Office products (MS ACCESS, MS EXCEL) as a Reporting Source

Education, Training and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
  • Training and certifications will be considered
