Job Summary:

This Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operation, administration and implementation of policies, procedures and maintenance of a portfolio of Comcast facilities located in the DCT area. Emphasis is placed on providing a positive response to the concerns and needs of the occupants and responder for building concerns. May serve as a resource for junior colleagues.

This roles does require the ability to travel to multiple sites in close proximity. Additionally, this role requires the need to be able to respond to emergency situation on a 24/7 basis as applicable.

Core Responsibilities:

-Collect, analyze and administers analytical reports on open and closed work orders, while maintaining records to track repairs and maintenance via ticketing system.

-Creates work orders, assigns and communicates to multiple technicians, subcontractors and vendors.

-Responsible for checking the work order status with the appropriate technician or vendor and assisting management in resolving problems.

-Coordinates preventive maintenance and repairs programs on all building mechanical infrastructures.

-Inspects all areas of the building(s), rendering general corrective maintenance of and continued operation of mechanical systems such as HVAC systems, boiler, fans, generators, electrical switch gear, and UPS systems as necessary to maintain proper level of appearance and operation of equipment, fixtures, etc. and reports deficiencies as well as suggestions for improvement.

-Assists with the departmental budget process.

- Assists management in identifying and implementing projects that will drive process improvement and/or streamline business processes, and or vendor services and scope.

-Manages and handles facilities emergencies that arise.

-Ability to understand, solve problems and execute general instructions in standard situations and unique instances.

-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

- High School or Equivalent

-Generally requires 5-7 years related experience in facilities management experience (commercial facilities or property management experience)

-Professional certification (e.g. CFM) is preferred

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

-Participate in planning and execution of facility improvements

-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and make sound judgements in a fast paced environment; multi-tasking regarding work methods and tools

-Ability to travel to multiple sites within region

-Demonstrated ability to effectively work individually and in a team environment

-Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment

-Comfortable working in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities

-Requires the need to be able to respond to emergency situation on a 24/7 basis as applicable

-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

-Participation in recognized professional association (e.g. IFMA) is highly desired!
